Plebbit is fully p2p, serverless, decentralized. So there’s no way of knowing how many subplebbits there are, as there’s no central server. You can create a sub and never share its address and nobody will find it (unless you post in it with an account and post to a known sub with the same account, so users will see the sub in your account post history). if youre on the seedit client look at the top and click all. that is a list of all subplebbits listed on the default plebbit list. also, there can also be "hidden" subplebbits not available to the default list and only available through link sharing.

It’s an MCP server, which means whatever AI model can use it to read docs of any project that has published its docs to the mcp server. So you can brainstorm/plan things/ask questions far more accurately, and the AI doesn’t have to guess how meshtastic/plebbit works when answering you. Usually LLMs suck because they answer by either remembering the state of that data they were trained on (so it’s an outdated snapshot in time) or they resort to inaccurate web searches, and fill the gaps with hallucinations. MCP servers are fixing this by connecting the AIs to live data sources.

you have to pay for a human-readable sub name, otherwise its just a cryptographic string. eth domains are rented, sol domains are a one-time purchase
