it can only work on web if you connect to a server remotely, via RPC, which is already possible technically. We just need someone to make some sort of company that would rent the servers and sell the service for a subscription fee or for free by putting ads in the sub. It would have to be non-custodial, so the user can opt out at any time and transfer the sub to their own server. I will work on this at some point, probably this year. It would probably be a startup looking for VCs to invest, because you need to rent or own the servers, and also to have a team of administrators for them to moderate the service.
