Rinse is working on a new release that introduces p2p in the browser, which could fix all speed bugs. It also includes optimizations for the initial loading speed of the feed, and other fixes such as the ability of setting multiple challenges in one sub.
I’m testing plebchan and seedit more and finding new bugs and fixing them, so they work properly as we release them with the backend upgraded (if they finally work well enough we’ll start buying some ads for them).
I’m almost finished with the bug fixes, in a few days I’ll start working on a new plebbit client exclusive to mobile devices, written in react native. It’s a reddit UI, could look similar to Apollo on iOS and RIF on Android. It will be submitted to the iOS App Store and Android Play Store (eta: couple of months).
