You ascend the compass if you realize IQ is a pretty valid measure for *mental capacity*, but not for *intuition* since each answer can only be correct, incorrect or non given. I think we can all agree that intuition is part of intelligence, arguably the most important part. So, ironically, IQ has a misleading name.
