This is great. We need more experimentation with plebbit. It's the only way we're gonna find out what's the best design in terms of optimal UX for the average normie user. Maybe there will be a monetization model in the future where people would host frontends like this, and in return get a % of tips made by the user. It would a big competition between hosters to attract users. Developers will start developing caching systems on top of Plebbit that will predict what the user is interested in, and fetch it before they ask for it. Normies will have a pretty smooth instantaneous experience. When you try reddit.com or other social apps, you're bombarded with ads that makes the UX much slower and worse. They have to do that, because their corporate interests aren't aligned with the UX, but in Plebbit case it's extremely aligned. There will be hundreds of clients that caters to every type of users, and they will be interoperable with each other. We need first to further develop the RPC API of Plebbit. Right now if you connect to an RPC, you're assumed to be admin and you have full privileges. But we will have a permission system where somebody can only create and manage their own subs. Or maybe no subs at all, but they can use the RPC to browse and publish. I like what you have done, we don't have a simplex group but if you would like you can create one and mirror our TG group there. You should also drop your ETH address, we don't have tipping implemented yet, but we want to foster an ecosystem where projects that serves the decentralization goals of Plebbit are rewarded.

This is the simplex link: https://simplex.chat/contact#/?v=2-7&smp=smp%3A%2F%2F0YuTwO05YJWS8rkjn9eLJDjQhFKvIYd8d4xG8X1blIU%3D%40smp8.simplex.im%2F2djr8EjJixQF79EgFY5tTlWhWFfZPszW%23%2F%3Fv%3D1-3%26dh%3DMCowBQYDK2VuAyEAMPqA-9EWn_grIlVC0wy33p3yaJGJjDwRmGZj7I0YtgE%253D%26srv%3Dbeccx4yfxxbvyhqypaavemqurytl6hozr47wfc7uuecacjqdvwpw2xid.onion&data=%7B%22type%22%3A%22group%22%2C%22groupLinkId%22%3A%22oHlW-zvkKSjYb845t_1sGQ%3D%3D%22%7D
yes, exactly. i knew that the rpc technically isn't ready for public use, but in my tests it worked so much better that i thought let's just try it out. it seems to work great, sometimes i lose connection to the rpc but it's still much better than pubsub providers, because you instantly get a notification if a post failed, and it doesn't happen often. plebbit is basically the matrix (or simplex) of forums, because it's so interoperable and it even fixes the problems with federation. it's indeed very interesting what might come in the future, if plebbit gets actual attention from normies. a lot of them will want to stay when they understand that their privacy, time and attention is respected. it would be cool if only one user could be an admin of a sub, but i get that it's probably hard to implement. i don't think there's any bridges for simplex, but it's very popular amongst privacy enthusiasts which are currently the most likely to use plebbit (imo). i think i will create a simplex group for plebbit, maybe i can add a bridge in the future. my eth address is 0xbd63e468b3C81EFB340cC8007b7f0026bC453627 thank you if you want to tip/donate, i would use it to pay for server costs, but it's not required, i would fund it out of pocket too, because i think it's worth it. unless it gets too many users, i'm not rich unfortunately :(
