1/ I’ve got these big speakers mounted on my wall, and I want to use them at night to play calming sounds like ocean waves, rain, city ambiance, or field recordings.
Basically, I need some noise to fill the silence because I don’t have a gfto share my life with, and every attempt so far has been a rejection.
2/ I tried those 10-hour YouTube videos, but they’re always a bit off
There’s this annoying hiss in the background or too much reverb that makes the sound feel cheap asf. I’ve tweaked the bass and treble, but it doesn't help.
3/ So, I’m on the hunt for lossless, high-quality FLAC files with nature sounds or field recordings.
Any recommendations on where to find them? Maybe some hidden gems, websites, or even paid apps for Android that are worth it?
4/ I’m willing to pay for an app or library if the quality is top-notch. The dream is clear, crisp sounds, none of that cheap compressed stuff.
5/ If you’re into sound design or have experience with this, drop some tips
And if you know a good community or forum where people share these kinds of recordings, please share it. Thanks, plebs
You might find its your sound card thats making the sound shit. You need a low Signal to Noise Ratio Card. Asus used to make a good one, but I think they stopped. Also optical amp + cables if you can. It will make a huge difference pleb
this looks lke the best one: https://mynoise.net/
there are also some other apps for android but the quality of sound sucks, this one looks good, and u can mix shit
