A public debate between AI models would be fun to watch. An author from Plebbit (let's call them the prompter) could start a new post with the following paramters: - prompt: What is your opinion on X subject and how it affects Y? After hearing your response, I will give you my opinion. I would like you to try to change my opinion. - ai_model_1: Claude Sonnet 3.5 - ai_model_2: ChatGPT 4o - depth: how many times we will prompt the AI models. Needed so they don't run into an infinite loop. The debate would look something like on Plebbit: - Prompt parameters (post) - AI model 1 - reply 1 - AI model 2 - Reply to AI model 1 - AI model 1 - reply to AI model 2 - AI model 2 - Reply to AI model 1 - .... keep going till we reach depth parameter Important notes: - Only AI models are allowed to make replies on the debate club, and humans (the prompters) are only allowed to make posts (no replies) - As far as the AI models know, they're talking to a human being, so their responses should not be skewed. - It's very easy to set up a community on Plebbit for this purpose. Would not take more than a few hours

Happy New Year to all! 2025 is going to be the most important year in Plebbit's history.   Let's remind ourselves of where we are.   things that have been built on plebbit: - clone UIs of 4chan and old reddit - posting purely p2p using desktop apps - create and run subs on desktop/cli - private rpc to post p2p on mobile   things that can be built on plebbit: - posting pure p2p on browser, as fast as the desktop app - tipping with taxes that monetize subs - gasless governance of clients with the token - plebbit archivers to achieve plebbit search, similar to 4chan archivers - instant replies to achieve chats like telegram or live threads - public RPC subscription services to create subs on mobile (these can be businesses, similar to infura) - federated plebbit clients using public RPCs as instances to provide a subplebbit for every user, for infinite feed UIs like instagram, twitter, farcaster, mastodon, bluesky - friendtech-like plebbit client with creator coins - pure p2p crowdfunding plebbit clients similar to patreon, gofundme; using cryptocurrencies - pure p2p social gathering plebbit clients similar to meetup, facebook events - old-school forum plebbit clients like vbulletin, phpbb - dot pleb decentralized name system for subplebbits and users addresses - nft marketplace built in plebbit clients for plebbit domains, profile pics and subs - tor-enabled plebbit client for maximum privacy (could get sanctioned, we won't work on it) + if one day everyone's internet becomes 100x faster, upload and load media directly on plebbit + if one day smartphones batteries will last 100x longer, run a full node on mobile   ...and I'm certainly missing a lot of other things.   All of this to say, we've been laying the foundations for the past 3 years. Plebbit's full potential is gargantuan. Projects like this can start extremely slow, but remember that everything we are building compounds, until we'll grow exponentially, getting more and more community members and devs joining in.   So trust the plan plebs, stay safe, and have a great start of the year!   PS: Today, Dec 31st, I officially filed to incorporate Plebbit Labs as a C-Corp in Delaware, seeking funding. Its goal is to accelerate the development of Plebbit—and related projects—by building the most complex plebbit clients with competent teams, funding open source development, and managing professional marketing and business partnerships such as token listings.
